My friend Cath said she liked that nail art was a bit so wrong it was right.. Absolutely. I saw a comment on a blog that said 'Manicures are for housewives, nail art is for sluts'.

Amen to that (sort of).

Tre She Salon

I just found out that an old school friend Zinya Langford has taken her nail-art to another level and has a pop-up salon called 'Tre She' here in Melbourne at the delightfully retro 'Shag' on Chapel St. She will be there on the 15th Dec doing awesome things to awesome people. You should go.

Decal-ifornication

I bought these Nail Rock decals in LA. the designs are mega-awesome but I'm a bit disappointed in them tbh... A bit thicker than the Sally Hansen & Kit ones so it's difficult not to get creases. Also only 16 in a pack instead of 20 which leaves less room for error (or your daughter deciding to stick them on her face). Still look cool though and maybe next time I'll try heating them up a bit with a hair dryer as I smooth them on to the nails...
